TEETH FOR THE SHARK: (CATF)
A Curtiss P-40K Warhawk of the 23rd Fighter Group’s 75th Fighter Squadron is seen with its tail elevated as its armorers are seen bore-sighting its six .50 caliber machine guns at the CATF airfield at Hengyang. It was the standard practice of China based P-40 and P-51 fighters to have the gunfire of their .50 caliber machine guns syncronized to converge at a point 300 yards beyond their nose.
