YUNNAN SHARK: (AVG)

AMERICAN VOLUNTEER GROUP / December 26, 2017

A Curitss Hawk 81-A-2 (P-40B Tomahawk) flown by AVG pilot Percy Bartlet is seen on a runway in western Yunnan, (that is thought to be Loiwing.)

Flying as a member of the AVG’s 2nd Pursuit Squadron, Bartlet would be credit with seven aerial victories, however Bartlet who had been a naval aviator before joining AVG was discharged from the organization in March 1942.
